Sheet profiles are used, for example, for shaping the work scaffoldings, workshop floor platforms, carwash equipment, ramps, and facades.
They may be found at industrial sites, traffic, and transport as well. The sheet profiles are the ideal complementary the product range of the known floor coverings which may be approached by vehicles.
Due to their stability and slipping-proof properties, the profiles contribute to the increase of the workplace security. The advantage of the high shape stability is the simple and swift installing.

Manufacturing

The sheet profiles are manufactured from rolls of metal, from different raw materials.
Following the successful inspection the rolls are taken to the CNC controlled production line. There the desired product surface is punched with the appropriate tool and it is pressed and cut to length. When determining the length, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the given raster size “R” (see the reference at certain finishes) has to be observed as much as possible. Of course, different measurements are possible, too, but this leads to plus work during manufacturing. In case of the hot-dip galvanized elements the production length should not exceed 6000 mm. The sheet thickness and the production speed should be determined depending on the desired load and the used raw material. The perforated metal sheets are shaped into C-profiles using CNC-controlled moulding technology In case slots, openings have to be placed on the moulded sheet profile sieves, their data are introduced and then they are worked out using the completely integrated system. The sheet profile sieves can be delivered with welded laths. According to the DIN standard this has to be minimum 100 mm higher than the walking level. Following this the elements are galvanized.

KSJ chimney sweeper pavement

We marketed so called chimney sweeper pavement designed specially to help the secure approach of the chimneys and in case of demand the corresponding equipment as well. The chimney sweeper pavement is a simplified type of the sheet profiles, which is manufactured in one width, height.

The “chimney sweeper pavement” is a walking surface built outside the roof structure of the buildings for easy approach of the chimneys. It is non-skid, and the labiated pattern provides the possibility of secure walking on the roof. The chimney sweeper pavements can be purchased from our stock in 1 and 2 metre long pieces.

The vertical, fixed ladders are widely used: at forges and rolling mills, mines, chemical industry factories and in such areas where secure steps are needed. We offer special ladder rungs for the different usage areas in order to achieve the secure climbing in all cases. Each ladder rung provides good standing security even in extreme working conditions. Due to the surface shaping there is proper non-skid effect and the dirtiness can be avoided. Thus the security demands are fulfilled.
